Join the DAP Team
There are a lot of ways that you can be a part of the DAP team.
There are currently no open positions at Domestic Abuse Project. In the future, all open positions will be posted here and on the Nonprofit Job Board.
DAP relies heavily on the work of student interns to provide the critical services that our clients depend on. We currently have two internship routes:
- Therapy Interns – reserved for graduate students
This program is reserved for graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in behavioral health. We offer semester- and year-long intern opportunities in our Men’s, Women’s, and Children’s therapy programs. For more information, contact Sean Fields at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Advocacy Interns – open to undergraduate students and degree-holders
In 2013 DAP launched a undergraduate-level internship with our advocacy team. Those students work directly with our advocates to help families in crisis: they go to court, file petitions, answer crisis calls and do one-on-one safety planning. For more information, contact Deena Anders at email@example.com.
DAP volunteers take on many roles. They help with administrative tasks, direct clients to resources through the First Call phone line, and contribute to our events. Mostly, we want to hear YOUR ideas for how you’d like to contribute. Call us today! You can reach Konrad Orthwein, Volunteer Manager, at 612.874.7063 x. 201 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
