The only thing better than having a good time with friends, is making a positive impact at the same time. Party with Purpose is a community-wide effort to raise funds for the Domestic Abuse Project (DAP) by combining social events with the cause to end domestic abuse.
To help guide you DAP will send a Party Host Packet that includes resources and ideas for your party, digital invitations and thank you cards and more! DAP representatives will attend your party to deliver a 20-minute inspiring presentation and invite the guests to make a contribution to help end domestic violence.
Steps to turn your upcoming party, gathering or event into a Party with Purpose.
1. Plan a party (at the venue of your choice)
2. Invite guests (friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, etc.)
3. Purchase and serve refreshments (this cost is considered an in-kind donation to DAP)
Proceeds from your Party with Purpose will help teens and children to heal from the abuse they have witnessed and experienced.
