Internships

DAP relies heavily on the work of student interns to provide the critical services that our clients depend on.

We currently have two internship routes:

Therapy Interns - reserved for graduate students
This program is reserved for graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in behavioral health. We offer semester- and year-long intern opportunities in our Men’s, Women’s, and Children’s  therapy programs. For more information, contact Sean Fields at sfields@mndap.org.

Advocacy Interns - open to undergraduate students and degree-holders
In 2013 DAP launched a undergraduate-level internship with our advocacy team. Those students work directly with our advocates to help families in crisis: they go to court, file petitions, answer crisis calls and do one-on-one safety planning. For more information, contact Erin Raffensperger at eraffensperger@mndap.org.
