DAP is currently hiring for the following positions:

Men’s and Change Step Therapist

Participate as a staff member of the Men’s Program team working with both our Mainstream Men’s clients and our Change Step (Veteran) clients. Most clients in both programs are court-ordered for domestic abuse programming and are identified by the courts, as perpetrators. Provide direct-client service in the forms of group and individual psychotherapy, and psycho-education. Provide coordination of care through regular collateral contact, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files. Participate in program development, case consultations, weekly meetings and trainings, as well as community outreach when appropriate. This position works closely with our Men’s & Change Step case manager and with various county Probation departments and Hennepin County Vets Court. This part-time position averages 20 hours/week (including some evenings) and reports to the Supervisor of the Men’s Program.

Youth and Women’s Therapist

DAP believes in the importance of healing for women and children after experiencing and witnessing domestic violence in order to promote healthier social and emotional development of youth and families. DAP is currently looking for a full time Women’s and Youth Therapist to participate as a staff member of the DAP Women’s and Youth Teams. This position requires direct client care with youth ages 5-17, providing Child Centered Play Therapy and group services, and women providing individual and group therapy.

This position will provide coordination of care through regular collateral contact, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files. Participate in program development, case consultations, weekly meetings and trainings, as well as community outreach when appropriate. This position includes, but is not limited to, services that are client-centered, trauma-informed, systemic, and have a holistic approach. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position of 40 hours per week, and reports directly to the Supervisors of Youth Services and Women’s Services.

Youth Therapist and Youth Group Coordinator 

DAP is currently looking for a full-time Youth therapist and Youth Group Coordinator to participate as a staff member of the DAP Youth Team. This position requires direct client care with youth ages 0-18 and their caregivers providing intake assessments, and individual, parent-child, and group psychotherapy. This position will provide coordination of care through regular collateral contact, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files. Participate in program development, case consultations, weekly meets and trainings, as well as community outreach when appropriate.

This position includes, but is not limited to, services that are client-centered, trauma-informed, systemic, and have a holistic approach. This is a full time, benefit eligible position of 40 hours per week, and reports directly to the Supervisor of Youth Services.

We are seeking a therapist to serve as a staff member of the Men’s Program team. The position is part-time, averaging 20 hours per week, including some evenings.
