Get to Know us: Siri Lokensgard

Siri Lokensgard, MSW, LGSW is the Supervisor of the Advocacy Program at Domestic Abuse Project. Siri received her Bachelor of Social Work from Luther College and her  Master of Social Work from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis where she individualized her concentration in Violence Against Women Prevention and Legal Advocacy. At DAP, Siri oversees the Advocacy Program, utilizing trauma-informed, client-centered, and strength based perspectives when safety planning with individuals and helping them navigate the criminal and civil legal systems. Through her work in the violence prevention field, Siri has around five years of advocacy experience and has also conducted trainings/presentations on the legal remedies for DV/SV victim/survivors, DV 101, and prevalent sex trafficking research.
