Pakou Yang, Volunteer Coordinator
Pakou began working at Domestic Abuse Project in December, 2015. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. She has worked and volunteered in various relevant roles, including at Marriage and Family Health Services providing recreational activities and teaching life skills to traumatized children, and volunteering at St. Francis Food Pantry, documenting inventory and providing interpretation for Hmong families. As the Volunteer Coordinator, Pakou manages and recruits all volunteers at Domestic Abuse Project, as well as advocacy interns. She provides back up advocacy support as needed.
